1	Vegan SA A laudable new local initiative dedicated to locating vegan-friendly products, restaurants, places to stay and so forth. Well worth a visit!
2	Animal Rights Africa The best, brightest and most-uncompromising local Animal Rights organisation - if you've got any questions about the exploitative relationship between humans and animals, their website will answer them for you.
3	Further / Earth2 Further is a self-described 21st Century Counterculture Shop and hopeful hub for the local vegan, animal rights, environmentalist and anarchist communities. It sells vegan, animal rights, political, philosophical and fringe literature, hosts the Earth2 vegan cafe/coffee shop and is also the unofficial headquarters of us, the SA Vegan Society.
4	Sentience Animals in South Africa are not recognised as sentient beings, meaning they are classified as objects, and therefore have no rights. This exposes them to severe exploitation. We aim to educate people about animal rights and to make changes to better the lives of animals in South Africa.
